Families with pets, what hard surface floor is best?

It depends on the pet.

Smaller pets that are well trained, won’t be a problem for any floor.

Large, heavy, active dogs, are best running around a laminate floor. (which is almost scratch proof).

They can also jump around on a low luster wire brushed hardwood floor without creating much of an issue.

Accident prone pets are best hanging out on a luxury vinyl floor.
